Most visitors to Mallorca will fly into Palma de Mallorca Airport, which services both domestic and international flights. Once you’re in Mallorca, one of the easiest ways to get around is by car rental. This will let you see more of the island at your own pace, as well as discover lesser-known beaches and villages. Mallorca also has a well-developed bus network, and taxis and private drivers are readily available. There is also a train service, but it only goes between Palma and a few towns. Lastly, boat charters are a great way to travel while seeing more of the coast. Your Concierge can help with rental cars, private drivers, boat charters, and more.

Mallorcan cuisine uses local ingredients and traditional techniques to create unique experiences. Other local favorites include sobrasada, a cured sausage; tumbet, a layered vegetarian dish; frito mallorquín, made with fried liver and vegetables; and ensaimada, a sweet pastry spiral. And to drink, be sure to try some local wines from regions like Binissalem and Pla i Llevant.
