How to Get to Cannes?
Most visitors to Cannes will fly into the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. From there, it’s about a 30-minute drive, a 30-minute train ride, or a one-hour tram ride into Cannes. Cannes can also be reached by train from Paris via the high-speed TGV network in about 5 hours. When is the Best Time to Visit Cannes?
Peak season in Cannes is from June to August. The weather is warm and sunny, and the city is brimming with events and nightlife. However, this is also the busiest time, and the crowds and costs reflect that.
Shoulder season is from March to May and September to November. The weather is still mild and pleasant. Spring also sees flowers bloom and the famous Cannes Film Festival in May, while Autumn sees the regatta and various wine and food festivals. For many, this is the best time to go.
