La Cana H9 (DR) was FABULOSA!
If you have a chance to stay at this villa, you won't be disappointed!!! the villa was absolutely stunning! the decor, view, pool was incredible! we couldn't have asked for anything better!!! one of the master bedroom's on 2nd floor water pressure wasn't great and we told them about it- not sure if it was fixed or not- but no one complained! that's how stunning everything was! there is also a gym in the house which was a bonus! perfect size/perfect prize/perfect stay! must see the Eco reserve near by! get golf carts- you won't regret it!! food probably wasn't as great at villas in Jamaica but that just may be the food in general down in DR but some lunches were Costco level- more effort was made at the dinners. the drinks that our butler made were spot on! and we are very picky about our drinks :). they didn't have many avocados which was unfortunate (?availability) and I had to beg for fresh green coconuts (which eventually they were able to get)-- we had asked to get these ahead of time so not sure why- but when they did get them, we got a wheelbarrow full and they were incredible!! I did ask for sunscreen/bug spray for the house and they did not get sunscreen until next day. I think every villa should just have containers of sunscreen/bug spray available with the rental (just like they do at the beach club by the pool)
